EPA has just released a new website, the Climate Resilience and Adaptation Funding Toolbox (CRAFT). CRAFT was created to support technical assistance providers working with states, Tribes, communities, nongovernmental organizations, academic institutions, businesses, and others looking to invest in climate-resilient projects.

The EPA announced the release of the final Achieving Health and Environmental Protection Through EPA’s Meaningful Engagement Policy. The new policy outlines updates on how the agency intends to engage with the public and provide meaningful public participation opportunities in all of its programs and regions. This policy is grounded in the acknowledgment that EPA's actions to protect public health and the environment are stronger when they are informed by and reflect the lived experiences of the communities and individuals the agency serves.

A reminder about nonprofit status: You must attach proof of CBO nonprofit status to your application, as Grants.gov does not validate nonprofit status. We advise that you upload this when submitting your application in Grants.gov in the “Other Attachment File(s)/Mandatory Other Attachment” window.
Track II communities, mark your calendars! We have an upcoming workshop series for TA-approved communities who are interested in submitting an application under Track II of the Community Change Grants program. Find more information about this series below.
The Community Change Grants Program is still accepting applications through November 21, 2024. Communities are encouraged to submit applications early and as soon as NOFO requirements are met. EPA announced the first round of selections on July 25. Selections will continue on a rolling basis for the remainder of 2024. Please note the last day to request new Technical Assistance is tomorrow, August 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Mark your calendars! There are three days left to request individualized Technical Assistance (TA) for the Community Change Grants program. The deadline for new TA requests is 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 16, so now is the time to act.
On August 6, EPA’s Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights has published an updated version of the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Community Change Grants Program (CCGP). This new version, known as Modification No. 3, replaces the previous versions of the NOFO.
