How do I get help?

Included in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is $200 million to provide Technical Assistance (TA) to applicants, to enhance the ability of disadvantaged communities to access resources for environmental and climate justice activities. To date, we are proud to share that due to this dedicated funding stream, we have been able to provide Technical Assistance to more than 2,500 communities.

Please note that as of August 16, 2024, new requests for Technical Assistance are no longer being accepted. You can find helpful tools under the Resources tab, including recordings of past webinars, a resource library, fact sheets, workbooks, informational videos, frequently asked questions, and more to help eligible entities with an application.

Communities preparing to submit Community Change Grants applications should plan to do so by the November 21, 2024, 11:59 p.m. EST deadline. EPA will review and select applications on a rolling basis until funds are committed, so communities are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible.

You may contact us at EJ_TechAssist@EPA.gov or (800) 540-8123 for questions.
