Deadlines for Subject Matter Expert (SME) Requests
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) support team announced several cut-off dates as we move towards the November 21, 2024, deadline for submission of the Community Change Grants Program:
- October 31, 2024 - the last day to submit requests for scoping support. Scoping support refers to assistance subject matter experts provide in determining or narrowing the nature of an applicant’s project and helping to answer questions such as: Which climate change strategy should I pursue? What pollution reduction strategy should I use? What kind of greenhouse gas emission reduction project should I choose?
- November 14, 2024 - the last day to submit any SME requests. We recognize that it takes time to provide thorough feedback, and it can take between 3-5 business days for a Subject Matter Expert to conduct the necessary analysis. Therefore, we want to ensure that every applicant who submits a request for SME support by November 14 receives a response no later than November 20, 2024. Please note that if your request is received on November 14, you may not receive a response with feedback until November 20, 2024, giving you only a day to submit your application.
Please submit your requests for SME support to your TA provider as soon as possible, so you can receive timely feedback and submit your application before the deadline.
